A man is being charged with indecent exposure following accusations that he exposed and fondled himself in front of shoppers at a North Hills shopping plaza.
The incident, which reportedly occurred on January 5th, took place in the Wal-Mart plaza in Cranberry Township. Witnesses say the man exposed himself while inside the Wal-Mart store, and fondled himself as he followed women while they shopped. Police say that the incident was captured on Wal-Mart's security camera.
Several days after the Wal-Mart incident, the same man was reportedly arrested in a Ross Township Kohl's store for similar behavior. According to detective Brian Kohlhepp, the accused informed police that he has a history of this kind of behavior. Kohlhepp told a local CBS affiliate that the man said that "this is a regular practice that he does up in Butler County. That he's well known through Cranberry and lower Butler County for doing this type of behavior."
The man faces charges including lewdness and indecent exposure.
