For Immediate Release - March 8, 2018 - (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) Pittsburgh Attorney Frank Walker of Frank Walker Law, continues his passion of giving back to local charities and organizations by agreeing to become a sponsor for the Mardi Gras celebration which is hosted by the local chapter of his beloved Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated and will have a unique Wakanda theme, based off the highly successful movie “Black Panther.”
Attorney Walker, who was initiated in 1999 through the Xi Alpha Chapter, is shown above with the symbolic donation check given to fellow Attorney and Fraternity Brother, Albert G. Reese Jr, who was initiated in 2009 through the Iota Phi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi.
Attorney Reese, who serves as the Chairperson for the 2018 Mardi Gras celebration, appreciated the sponsorship from Attorney Walker and ensures that the gift will be used to, “ensure that everyone has an enjoyable and safe Mardi Gras celebration and to assist some of the families impacted by the recent apartment fire in the Upper Hill district area of Pittsburgh.”
The proceeds from the event will be used to assist with several Internationally Mandated programs such as College Tour, Talent Hunt and several other Social Action Programs. Additionally, the Omega Men will accept non-perishable food items, clothes (ranging from toddlers boys and girls to adult men and women) at the coliseum entrance to assist the 8 families displaced by the recent fire that engulfed a local apartment building in the Upper Hill District.
